Worship

As I read these two Psalms, I tried to picture how they would be used in worship.  Would they be fast or slow songs?  Would they be sung by a powerful soprano voice or deep bass voice?  Would they come before or after the offering?  What would the acolytes look like?

I know that's probably silly, but a pastor thinks about things like that. I want to know what and how and why.

Then I heard this song.  And I stopped.  And remembered that it was deeper than my questions.

It was about God's steadfast love that endures forever.

Glory be to God.

Amen

It is my favorite phrase of all in the Psalms: His steadfast love endures forever.
What a promise! What a joy! God's love is from everlasting to everlasting. He will never, ever let us down.
I wonder what the world would look like if we all lived daily in the peace and knowledge of God's great, abiding love?
Blessings!

WE could add our own "Give thanks"! Because His love does endure forever!
I liked the song and the description of idols- everything my heart is set on, everything I can't get out of my mind- that isn't God.
God, help us focus on you, because your love endures forever!
