Create in Me a Clean Heart

Psalm 51 is one of the most well known Psalms.  We use it in Lent every year.  It is said to have been written out of the anguish of David being confronted with his sins.  (see Samuel 12 and before to hear that story).

But it reminds each of us that God is who makes us clean.  Who can forgive even the worst in us.  What in you needs to be forgiven today?  What needs to be brought to the light and dealt with?  What do you need to forgive yourself for?

God forgave David, and he forgives you.  Let this Psalm, and this song be your prayer today!
